Iain and Mel have been coming to draw for several years. One of them started first, I don't remember which, and invited his mate to join him. The Scots accents and humour has become the most natural thing in the studio, and we were very concerned earlier in the year when Mel had to undergo by-pass surgery. Even before he was fully recovered, and we had to help him with his gear up the stairs, he was back at his easel. Meanwhile Iain has taken the plunge to opening his own studio and gallery in Balmain, and fullfilling his life long dream of living life as an artist.

Hi,
I am doing a sculpture that will be installed in the hunter valley in the next couple of months.
I need a female model to pose for part of the sculpture.
If you interested please send me your hourly rate plus a basic portrait.
I can also email some samples of my work.
Scott.

Hi Scott,
It's Bin Peterson (Mackey) here. I was wondering after we caught up last week, if you might be interested in putting some sculptures in our school art show?????? Let me know if you are. So I googled you! The committee is sending out invitational packs in a fortnight. Get back to me if you'd like them to send you one.
Cheers
Bin

That's something to be proud of That's a life you can hang your hat on That's a chin held high as the tears fall down A gut sucked in, a chest stuck out Like a small
town flag a-flyin' Or a newborn baby cryin' In the arms of the woman that you love That's something to be proud of That's something to be proud of That's a life you can
hang your hat on You don't need to make a million Just be thankful to be workin' If you're doing what you're able And putting food there on the table And providing for
the family that you love That's something to be proud of"{Something to be proud of} Imagine me and you I do I think about you day and night It's only right To think
about the girl you love And hold her tight So happy together

This dress was criticized by the public as: "two pieces of cloth with few, all the girls are exposed, the girls no privacy, their names become their only secret."
